About Zara
Fever Dream is the floral studio of Zara Castany, a New York City based floral designer with an intuitive eye for color and composition, and driven by a fevered excitement for all things romantic, poetic, and ephemeral. Drawing upon her affinity for art in all of its forms, Zara dreams in the curves of stems, the unfurling of blooms, and the curling of spent leaves, using nature as her medium to express the particular earthly magic of every couple she works with. She creates one of a kind designs that feel tender, enchanted, and uniquely curious.
Using only locally grown materials and no floral foam, Zara stays true to her commitment to be an environmentally conscious floral designer who is passionate about creating a more sustainable and forward thinking wedding industry. Zara has worked as a floral designer for almost a decade, and during her tenure as the weddings department manager at Stems Brooklyn she collaborated with hundreds of couples to envision and design their dream eco conscious weddings in New York City, the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, and New Jersey.
